McDonald's devastated many fast food fans in Singapore when they announced that they were suspending operations for all their outlets during circuit breaker. This comes after seven McDonald's employees, who were deployed to work at nine branches, came down with Covid-19.

The fast food chain announced on Facebook today (April 30) that it has gotten the government's approval to "restart operations from May 4 under the essential services framework". This sounds like good news — we could be reuniting with our McNuggets and fries as soon as next week!
