Har Cheong Gai Onigiri & Other Mod Sin Rice Balls In “Sex Hands” Collab For National Day

This ain’t a typo — it’s the chefs’ cheeky promise to “spice up your weekend with their six hands”. Each chef offers two flavours.

From Jelebu Dry Laksa, expect the signature grilled tiger prawn dry laksa in onigiri form. So, laksa-flavoured Japanese short-grain rice and grilled tiger prawns, finished with kaffir lime leaf and daun kesum (laksa leaves). The other option is har cheong gai kaarage in tomato-and-cilantro-flavoured rice.

Jekyll & Hyde offers a turmeric-infused rice ball with lime leaf furikake, cradling beef rendang rillette and also a minced pork-and-mala onigiri.

Lastly, Mezame’s contribution is lu rou fan (a local spin on the Taiwanese dish) onigiri stuffed with braised pork belly and quail egg, plus a dried scallop onigiri dusted with ti poh (dried sole fish) furikake.
