French hawker stall Garcons’ young owner-chefs Enoch Teo and Immanuel Tee have a new Western stall in Holland Village food Court, and it comes with a do-good social cause. Two Hands is named after Enoch and Immanuel’s mentorship of wayward youths, whom Enoch says are now making an honest living with their “two hands” cooking at their stalls. The head chef here is ex-convict Kevan Tan, who has experience cooking in all four Garcons outlets. Here, he whips up affordable mod Western-Asian dishes like Pork Belly Spaghetti ($13.90, see main pic) and Japanese-influenced grilled skewers such as a garlicky Duck Tsukune ($1.90 a stick) with shiitake mushrooms and leeks. While Enoch and Immanuel are “more involved in management” for Two Hands, they say they pop by the stall to cook a few times a week.
