Missed out on trying Riz Labo Kitchen’s delicately soft, wobbly soufflé rice flour pancakes at its recently concluded pop-up at Wisma Atria’s Japan Food Town? Well, now you can dig into a pile anytime. It has set up a permanent home at online grocery and food delivery service Honestbee’s new multi-F&B concept store in Pasir Panjang. But it’s now known as Poofy by Riz Labo Kitchen. We’re guessing it’s ’cos their pancakes are poofy like clouds?
“This is a partnership between Poofy – a curated brand by Habitat by Honestbee, and Riz Labo Kitchen,” Honestbee’s PR rep tells us. Unlike the pop-up, Riz Labo Kitchen’s own Tokyo chefs are not stationed here to make the pancakes. But they have trained Habitat by Honestbee’s chefs for a month to do so.
