What Happened To Hollywood, The Bedok Dessert Stall With Long Queues For Its Chendol?

Fans of the refreshing desserts have raved about the generous portions and great taste. This inevitably led to perpetual queues at the stall, which had a memorable old-school signboard emblazoned with a cartoon tiger’s head and Pink Panther.
Hollywood was named after its original location at Hollywood Theatre at Tanjong Katong Road, where its hawker-owners ran a pushcart serving sweet treats to cinema-goers. The family-run stall eventually shifted to Bedok Interchange (the theatre closed for good in 1995).
