A fishball noodle stall in Jurong, simply called Teochew, is well-known in the neighbourhood for serving its fishball noodles, laksa and satay bee hoon at only $2.50. Located at Jurong West 505 Food Centre, the longtime joint regularly has a queue for its affordable food.
At $2.50 for a bowl of old-school fishball noodles, it is even lower-priced than the $3 handmade fishball noodles at popular stall Wen Guang in the same hawker centre.

According to netizen Linda H Ling, who posted about her visit to the stall on Facebook group Food We Eat N Share in SG, prices used to start at just $2 “before everything [started] to increase.” You can also order a bigger portion for your dish for $3.50.

Linda added that “their satay bee hoon and laksa were very popular among the folks around the area too. If you see no queue, it might be [because] they ran out of ingredients already.” She tells 8days.sg that “sometimes the stall sells out by 10am.”
