It has five 'stalls' offering dishes like curry rice "for the solo diner".

A meal at well-loved zi char restaurant New Ubin is usually a dine-in affair. But Covid-19, and the circuit breaker, have changed the way we makan. To cater to folks who now prefer to order food delivery and eat at home, the 30-year-old biz has launched a new “virtual restaurant”. Cheekily named UbinEats (after the defunct UberEats), the concept is “dedicated to ‘Truly Singaporean’ ready-to-eat meals for one”.
This means you can order for either your whole family, or just yourself. The meals are packaged as bentos, and customers can choose from five ‘stalls’ conceptualised by New Ubin, each serving a different type of cuisine. They are Ubin Nasi Lemak, Vijay Banana Leaf, Ah Koon Scissor Cut Curry Rice, Ah Ma Chicken Curry Noodles and Ah Boon Signatures.
