Chinatown Food Street Has Six New Hotpot Stalls, Korean BBQ & Mookata Included

Japanese hotpot joint Nabemono Shabu-Shabu, Chinese-style barbecue Lao Dong Bei Shao Kao, Chinatown Laksa steamboat (Niu Che Shui La Sa Huo Guo), Mala steamboat (She Jian Shang Mala Huo Guo), Hongdae Korean BBQ, and S88 Mookata steamboat are the six new stalls that’ll be a part of this nostalgic street-style dining place. Prices range from $19.90 to $23.90 each for adults and $12.90 for kids. These include raw ingredients, soup, and selected free-flow side dishes.

Each stall has its own signature soups and ingredients such as Soya Milk soup from Nabemono Shabu-Shabu stall. They all also offer different free-flow cooked dishes, like kimchi pancake from Hongdae Korean BBQ, fried gyoza from She Jian Shang Mala Huo Guo, garlic fried rice with braised pork belly at Nabemono Shabu-Shabu, Sichuan chicken with chilli oil sauce from Lao Dong Bei Shao Kao, Thai fish cake from S88 Mookata Steamboat and poached Hainanese chicken from Niu Che Shui La Sa Huo Guo.

The first 30 customers per day from 1 to 6 December enjoy a discounted $9.90 steamboat or barbecue set from any of the six new stalls. For example, they’ll get to enjoy unlimited sets of black pepper beef short rib and original garlic pork belly from Hongdae Korean BBQ, plus free-flow sides like kimchi pancake and korean tteokbokki.

The other local food stalls will also have a similar promo from 1 Dec to 31 Jan. The first 30 customers each day during this period snag Dumpling Soup for $2.99 and Char Siew Rice at $1.99 from stalls Famous Eunos Bak Chor Mee and Tiong Bahru Meng Kee Roast Duck.
