Homegrown chain Beef Bro is best known for selling halal Taiwanese-style flame-grilled beef cubes. It started out as a pop-up stall at the Geylang Serai bazaar in 2017, and became so popular that it opened a mall outlet a year later at Century Square in Tampines. It subsequently set up two more outlets, at Clifford Centre in Raffles Place and Northpoint City in Yishun.

The chain was originally co-founded by local actor Noriff Danial Ashriq, who got his start as a child star on the Ch 5 sitcom Police & Thief, and young entrepreneur Norvan Tan. Danial has since left the biz to focus on acting.
