It was only recently in July that Shake Shack unveiled its third Singapore outlet at Liat Towers. And now, the American fine-casual burger chain has announced that it’s blessing Singaporeans with a fourth branch — at Suntec City. The outlet takes over a space at the mall’s West Wing (where the convention centre is). It was formerly occupied by Gudetama Cafe, which closed down last October.

The Shack will take over My Melody Cafe’s erstwhile unit too. Hoarding for the new eatery went up today (August 24), though renovations are still going on and the opening date is yet to be confirmed.

It will still be very Instagrammable
Where it had previously partnered local artists like Sam Lo and Danielle Tay for murals at its restaurants, Shake Shack is now collaborating with art collective Ripple Root to work on painterly new works to decorate the Suntec City space. It will feature Singaporean nods like bougainvillea and “splashes of water” reminiscent of the mall’s Fountain of Wealth. Ripple Root is also behind the highly-Instagrammed colourful mural walls at a Keong Saik alleyway, so expect some good stuff for your ’gram.
Shake Shack’s fourth outlet is at #01-357 Suntec City Mall S038983.
