Yao Yao visits Descendants of the Sun filming location in Greece
(Taipei July 2, 2016) Yao Yao shared her hilarious experience when she was on the island of Zakynthos, where Descendants of the Sun filmed on Navagio beach.
(Taipei July 2, 2016) Yao Yao was invited to the opening of an eyewear store and took to the catwalk with a team of muscular models. She and variety host Ada Chang visited Europe for filming. She explained, "We stayed in Greece for 10 days and filmed on a different island every two days. It was very hot there and the temperature was nearly 40 degrees. I used a bottle of sunblock every day."
Despite the heat, she said Greece was really beautiful and that one had to visit there at least once in their lives. She even went to the island of Zakynthos, where "Descendants of the Sun" filmed on Navagio beach.
She quipped, "I asked Ada, ‘Why are you not Song Joong Ki?’ and he said to me, ‘Why aren’t you Song Hye Gyo?’" When asked if she would take her boyfriend, Locking Young, there for a honeymoon, Yao Yao teased, "Shouldn't he be the one bringing me there instead?"
