Song Seung Heon, Liu Yifei dogged by breakup rumours

Ever since they announced their relationship in August last year, reel-to-real life couple Song Seung Heon and Liu Yifei have been hit with rumours aplenty – from flash marriages to more recently, breakup rumours.

Yesterday, an entertainment gossip account posted on Weibo, saying that 39-year-old Korean actor had initiated the breakup with Yifei, 28, as he felt that he was unable to “give the other party happiness”.

The couple first met on the set of the movie, The Third Way of Love, which was released in Taiwan in September last year. After making public their relationship, the lovebirds showed their love openly, be it on TV shows or in interviews.

However, in recent months, speculation that the two had broken up started spreading, despite Seung Heon’s managing company’s denial.

Last Monday, the couple also failed to show up at a promotional event for the Korean release of The Third Way of Love, breathing new life into the rumours. The pair’s respective managing companies have yet to respond to the newest rumours.
