The pregnant actress is sporting a more youthful look
Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen posted a picture yesterday showing off her new youthful look and shorter haircut. It was said that she did it in an attempt to show her support for her husband, fellow Chinese actor Chen Xiao, who recently shaved his head bald for his role in an upcoming period drama series, Na Nian Hua Kai Yue Zheng Yuan.
The photo she posted was accompanied with the caption directed to Chen Xiao, “Today is the start of winter, but I can’t be with you throughout the four seasons,” seemingly missing her husband who is at China filming at the moment, but unexpectedly, she continued, “[because] I’m in Taipei, stuck in summer”.
The fans were entertained by her caption, but had mixed feelings about her new hair. Some gave their thumbs up and praised her for looking as young as a student and some begged her to “never do it again”.
The 33 year-old actress tied the knot with Chen Xiao this July after announcing that Michelle is three months pregnant. Michelle is currently seven months pregnant and have stopped all work to focus on getting ready for labour.
