Kai Ko is finally back at work
A year after he was arrested for drug offences, Taiwanese actor Kai Ko has finally landed his first job assignment – a million-dollar (approximately S$43,000) endorsement deal for an online game.

Following the drug scandal, Kai’s showbiz career suffered a heavy blow as he was dropped from several projects and endorsements. The actor has also been blacklisted in the Chinese entertainment industry.

On Sunday, Kai posted a photo of himself putting on a facial mask while getting ready for a shoot. He wrote: “It’s been a long time since I’ve shouted ‘Let’s start work’!”

The 24-year-old uploaded another work photo yesterday, which revealed his role as Guo Jing in the game based on the classic Jin Yong novel The Legend of the Condor Heroes.

Dressed in the character’s outfit, Kai posed for the camera with a “martial arts pose”. “Sir, may I know who you are?” he comically asked.
