Hannah Quinlivan’s good friend Beatrice Fang is now a mum too

Hannah Quinlivan gave birth to her daughter “little Chou Chou”, her actress good friend Beatrice Fang has become a mother too. The 24-year-old delivered a baby girl via caesarean section yesterday. According to Taiwanese media, the baby nicknamed “Mia” weighs 3.1kg and is 51cm long at birth.

Beatrice announced the good news in a Facebook post yesterday. She wrote: “The number one project in my life is born. I have officially become a mother.”

As the actress thinks that the newborn baby is too wrinkly, she has decided to post more photos of her daughter at a later time.

Beatrice’s husband Yang Ming Wei, who accompanied the actress throughout the delivery process, also shared his happiness online. “I have something important to announce. I am a father! Both mother and daughter are well. Let me go take care of my queen and princess. I am really, really, really touched. My wife, you are so noble! I love you!” he exclaimed.

Speaking to reporters, the first-time dad admitted that it still feels very surreal, but he is “extremely delighted” whenever he looks at his daughter. Ming Wei also let on that the couple will throw a belated wedding banquet next year.

In other news, Hannah, who has recently completed her confinement period, is planning to open a café in Taipei with her pet dog Machi as the theme. As for her husband Jay Chou, the multi-hyphenate is currently busy with his self-established streetwear label PHANTACi’s expansion into China. The brand’s first overseas store is slated to open in Shanghai next month.
