Chris Wang, family take 3-hour hike up Mount Cook

Taiwanese actor and television host Chris Wang, 33, posted updates on the three-hour hike up Mount Cook he, his wife and their 11-month-old daughter, Lei-chen, took recently.

“The first time we’re taking Lei-chen on a hike and it’s a three-hour trail up Mount Cook,” he wrote on Facebook yesterday. “When we got to the end of the trail, I was soaked, but it’s all worth it!”

Mount Cook is New Zealand’s tallest peak at 3,724 m.

The family got a good view of the other peaks in Mount Cook National Park, but Chris’ wife, Lin Yi-xian, declared they were not allowed to go on another hike anytime soon.

The actor made the surprise announcement in January that he would take a break from acting to travel the world with his wife and daughter.
