Angelica Lee takes on first work assignment after giving birth
The actress attends Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival with twin sons in tow
Malaysian actress Angelica Lee and Hong Kong director Oxide Pang welcomed their newest additions to their family August this year, their twin boys, Pang Jiyun and Pang Ziran. The actress has dedicated her time after delivery to staying home to take care of her two sons, but she made an exception to attend this year’s Golden Horse Film Festival on November 26 as she was invited to be part of the jury.
The 40 year-old shared during an interview at the press conference with the jury that it is unbearable to even leave her sons for a while, so she had to take time to consider whether to join the jury after receiving the invitation. “Oxide encouraged me to go, but I was still worried (for her sons), so I brought Oxide, my sons and my parents along for the trip,” she added.
Angelica also promised to treat the movie viewing sessions seriously, as she has not seen most of the films. She intends to use the short breaks in between movies to “make fresh milk” as she is currently breastfeeding her children, so she has to “make use of time to pump milk”. The actress also expressed that she feels “less worried because Oxide is with me”.
The twins are the couple’s first children together after tying the knot six years ago and after they went through a rough patch when Oxide was caught cheating with model-actress Liddy Li two years ago. Oxide has a 16-year-old daughter, Pang Yan Yan, from his previous marriage.
