What is it about seeing a star dressed in swimwear that gets everyone all hot and bothered, in the best possible way of course? Here at 8 DAYS, we've long taken note of that and over the course of our 27-year history, we've shot many celebs at their hottest, wettest and beach-iest. Some of these photos were taken for our annual Swimsuit Issue. Who can forget Fiona Xie's comely Cairns caper in 2003? Or this year's Millennial edition featuring Sonia Chew? Our shoots have also taken our stars to many countries like Thailand for Rebecca Lim's krazy Krabi adventure and the Philippines for Ann Kok's bodacious Boracay escapade. We've also shot some of these photos in the unlikeliest of places: like Michelle Chia and the Polo Boys heating up... a warehouse behind the 8 DAYS office or Allan Wu getting drenched... in a back lot on Caldecott Hill. You didn't think spots on this swimsuit special are reserved just for the ladies right? In this day and age, it's equal opportunity for everyone.
