Angelababy Criticised For Running Ahead Of Her 4-Year-Old Son While Trying To Catch Their Flight At The Airport

One particular video, however, caught the attention of netizens.

In that clip, Angelababy can be seen running with her suitcase in tow, leading netizens to assume that she was late for her flight. Then there was Little Sponge who was seen running behind his mum, with his very own suitcase in hand.

While Angelababy did turn around every now and then to make sure that Little Sponge was alright, a number of netizens were not very pleased with her actions.

Some criticised her for “having no maternal instincts”, wondering how she could even think of running ahead of her son, with only her own luggage in hand, instead of, you know, holding her son by the hand and running with him.

“Isn't she afraid of losing her son [in the crowd]?” one netizen wondered.

However, some other netizens also left comments “explaining" Angelababy’s actions.

They noted that she was travelling with quite a large entourage, and that she ran ahead, while ensuring that Little Sponge was with the rest of the group, in an attempt to draw media attention away from her son.

Sounds a little dramatic, but it turns out that this is something that Angelababy’s been doing for quite a while.

Back in 2019, Angelababy was seen brisk walking away from her son at an airport too, in an attempt to draw the spotlight away from Little Sponge.

However, Little Sponge, who was only two then, foiled her plans by calling out for his “mama" when Angelababy walked away. Oops.

Looks like the celeb mum has to find another way to make travelling with her son less conspicuous.

Maybe a tag-team effort with her husband, Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming? After all, the couple, who’s been plagued with divorce rumours for the last few years, were recently spotted accompanying Little Sponge to the hospital together.
