“Where are the police uniforms?” We wondered this to ourselves as we stumbled into the imaging session of upcoming Ch 8 police crime series, C.L.I.F. 5. We looked towards the only star present, Cynthia Koh. She's dressed not in No. 5, but in a heartlander getup.

Turns out, the 45-year-old will be assuming the role of Li Xiaoying, a happy-go-lucky fish seller at the market and older sister to Shane Pow. And she's more than contented with her role. “I didn't know if I would be with the forces or not [when I got the role],” Cynthia explains. “When I knew I was going to sell fish at the market, I was like, okay, can relax a little bit!”
