Taiwanese Actress Joe Chen, 42, Marries 33-Year-Old Malaysian Boyfriend She Met On Reality Dating Show

According to media reports, Joe wore a purple sweater with a white skirt, while Alan was in white shirt and pants. They kept a low profile and were accompanied by a few friends and family.

After taking some photos, she filmed a video where she happily announced: "I'm married!"

Later that night, they both posted similar pics of themselves holding hands wearing their wedding bands on Instagram.

Their caption read: “An important milestone for us. Today marks the end of March and beginning of our wonderful journey, together. May each day bring us our hearts closer. Love you forever.”

Turns out that Joe was very low-key about the affair and did not even inform her manager.

Her manager told reporters that she had learned about the good news from a friend and said that Joe is “very happy”.

When asked if Joe was expecting, she replied: "It doesn’t look like it but I cannot say for sure. I will confirm with her later."

Joe and Alan went public with their relationship soon after meeting in late 2019 on the reality show.

Things were not always smooth sailing for the couple. When they first started dating, Joe’s fans were less-than-impressed with Alan, calling him “promiscuous”, sharing pics of him “engaging in conversation with scantily-clad models”.

According to reports, Alan, who comes from a well-to-do family in Johor, works in R&D in the F&B industry and is also an artist.

Due to the pandemic, he relocated to Taiwan last year so that he could be with Joe.
