3 Ways To Make Full Use Of Your Weekend (June 16 to 18)

There’ll be punches pulled, bubbly swigged and songs sung.

This weekend, party at some unexpected places.

#1: Hang out on a rooftop with a boybander.
Here’s a reason to head to Serangoon Gardens this weekend (and we don’t mean Chomp Chomp): a rooftop concert at myVillage mall headlined by former The Wanted boybander Nathan Sykes (main pic). Expect performances of songs from the 24-year-old Brit singer’s debut solo album, Unfinished Business, his duet with Ariana Grande ‘Almost is Never Enough’ (pity Miss Grande won’t be here), and an autograph signing sesh to round things off. Spend $70 at the mall to redeem one invite, or $120 for two tickets. For more info, go to http://lnk.to/arooftopaffair.

#2: The Moët, the merrier.

Get set for a bubbly weekend with Moët and Chandon’s 24-hour takeover at over 40 venues islandwide. The party begins on Friday midnight with a host of photo booths, contests and, of course, free bubbly at venues like 1-Altitude, Attica, and Baliza. The festivities continue the next day (day drinking, woohoo!) at chillout spots such as Wavehouse and Mambo Beach Club.

If you want to get your adrenaline pumping but can’t be arsed to work out, mosey down to UFC Fight Night for some MMA action, which includes Chinese welterweight veteran Li Jing Liang duking it out with Canadian fighter Jonathan Meunier. The night’s main event is a showdown between American bantamweight champ Holly Holm and Brazilian fighter Bethe Correia.
