3 Sedap Things To Do At This Year's Singapore Food Festival

This year’s 50 Cents Fest’s theme is ‘Those Years’, featuring food and entertainment from the 1980s. There will be over 40 hawker delights, including Hokkien Rickshaw Noodles, Paper Wrapped Chicken, and Dried Cuttlefish Peanut Congee — with 23 dishes priced at only 50 cents each! More decadent grub such as the Salted Egg Yolk Crab costs up to $2. The venue will also be transformed to resemble a bustling ’80s-style street, complete with live xin yao performances and games like a hopscotch alley.

July 29, noon-11pm; July 30, 11am-11pm Free Entry. Chinatown Food Street, Smith St, S050335. www.chinatownfoodstreet.sg/the-50-cents-fest/
