3 Durian Buffets To Binge On

Forget the corny name, Lime Restaurant's Thorny Temptations (from $88 per pax) deal promises to satisfy your cravings for the pongy fruit once and for all. It features a buffet dinner starring 15 unique savoury dishes infused with durian, in addition to the restaurant’s usual spread. Start off with a relatively tame D24 Durian Ravioli with Sage and Garlic Butter, then dig into the funkier-sounding Indonesian-style Gulai Fish Curry with, gulp, Fermented Durian and Wok-Fried Prawn and Petai with Sambal Durian. Definitely not for the faint-hearted. Desserts are tamer: there’s Durian Prata and our fave bit: a durian 'stall' offering free-flow Mao Shan Wang (the only place on this list to offer this premium varietal) and D24 durians. Heartburn is inevitable.
